Dr. Zakir more than met his match, in clever wordplay, when Sri Sri cornered Dr. Zakir convincingly. However Dr. Zakir does not maintain this video for his chest tumping. However I have collected the text of the discussion here and posting the same.

This doesn’t surprise me. Dr.Zakir is a ‘trojan horse’ trying to push sharia laws using ‘freedom of religion’ in countries like India. You can’t help but question his honesty when you see him pressing for more ‘Islam’ in our life, totally ignoring all the radical Islamic countries. To me, he is a 6th century throwback with a filthy beard.
Having said this, I cringe everytime I see Sri Sri Ravishankar. The dude does everything for self-promotion and money, what a shame!

What’s so great about so so’s statement? All he said was Muslims need to respect vedas. Musilms do respect all religious books to the extent that they don’t get rammed down their throats.
It is you Hindus who don’t respect your own vedas. Hindus don’t teach or learn vedas anymore. If it weren’t for Ramanad Sagar’s tv serials on Ramayan and/or Mahabharat, a mighty majority of Hindus wouldn’t have had any clues about Hinduism. They just blindly follow all the rituals saying Hinduism is a “life system” not an organized religion like the Abrahamic faiths. Little do they know that everything, literally everything, can be traced back to the rules mentioned in their kitabs : Smruthis, Puranas, Vedas or Upanishads.

this book may come from Allah like quran before quran. But there was made some changes like bible.
